Start of worldwide selection for Superkombat team!

SUPERKOMBAT®, the European leader in combat sports production, challenge you to become part of the global expansion for 2013.

SUPERKOMBAT® currently produces combat sports events broadcasted worldwide in 75 countries and after the great feedback from the fans and media around the world, we decided to start a worldwide selection of representatives in different countries and continents with the goal of putting the brand on a different scale.

This challenge is touching all the segments from this kind of promotion, starting with new fighters, clubs and further with managers, matchmakers or promoters, trying to connect them in a global network who could provide a future generation of fighters and also to organize some local tryouts or elimination events for the new SUPERKOMBAT® WGP series.

The best example used by Eduard Irimia for the new potential members in this concept is Romania, where he started in 2003 the promotion named “Local Kombat” and after six months he already got the media attention and huge ratings on live broadcast television networks.

Using the formula of the mainstream promotion with heroes coming from different fight disciplines and some of them even without having a background in martial arts as Catalin Morosanu or Benjamin Adegbuyi becoming participants in worldwide tournaments in less than a year since they start to train in a professional gym and after they have been selected in these fighting tournaments.

Organization Overview

The concept of SUPERKOMBAT® is based on fights at heavyweight division with stand-up rules between fighters from all around the world, coming from different fight disciplines, attracting viewers and spectators from different locations where the events take place. The organization is positioned as the only one world fighting elimination system at heavyweight divisions on stand-up rules broadcasted worldwide via Eurosport International and Eurosport Asia-Pacific in more than 75 countries. Since september 2012, Superkombat it’s the only global partner of K-1 Global and in December has signed a global agreement with WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations).
