San Antonio, TX (March 29th, 2019)– The Battle of The Alamo fought in San Antonio, Texas, from February 23 to March 6, 1836, is the most famous historical event of the Texas Revolution in American history.
On Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Cowboys Dance Hall in San Antonio, Texas, three main event bouts took place on a seven-bout card. 15-0-1 lightweight prospect Joseph ‘Mongoose’ Rodriguez won a hard-fought six round split decision over 6-13 Houston journeyman Darryl Hayes, whose record is deceiving. 16-0 super lightweight prospect Kendo ‘Tremendo’ Casteneda won a ten round decision over 24-4 Eudy Bernardo, a former Dominican Lightweight champion.
The magic moment of the night belonged 10-1 welterweight prospect John Arellano of Conroe, Texas, who scored an eight split decision upset over 10-0-1 Xavier Wilson of San Antonio, Texas. Texas middleweights Raymond Gujardo and Leonardo Mendez debuted against each other and opened the card.
