Cleveland, Ohio (December 25th, 2022)– After receiving a title from the World Boxing Association, social media and boxing star Jake Paul, a king at publicity and self-promotion, has moved to yet a higher plane. Paul has signed a contract with football’s Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland Browns officially announced on their Instagram account that they are hiring Mr. Paul, welcoming the Cleveland native to their organization in an official press conference.
Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones, Mark Gastineau, Tye Fields, Lyle Alzado (who fought a 10-round exhibition with Muhammad Ali), Tom Zbikowski, Ray Edwards, Alonzo Highsmith, Charlie Powell, and Le’Veon Bell are former NFL football stars who have moved into professional boxing. Paul would be a first, pro boxer to move onto pro football in the unique reverse direction, if he attempts to play for the Cleveland Browns next year.
The National Football League season is almost over, save the playoffs. Jake Paul’s title will be ‘Junior Associate Content Assistant’ as part of the Cleveland Browns social media team. Paul stated in a press conference clip it is his longtime dream to play pro football. Whether or not Jake Paul returns to boxing, or intends to attempt to make the Cleveland Browns roster in the 2023 preseason is a matter of speculation. In any case, it appears the Cleveland Browns and Jake Paul have outdone the World Boxing Association with Jake Paul’s latest Christmas Eve publicity stunt.
