Sakio Bika Confident Of Becoming New Light Heavyweight Champ

Quebec, Canada (March 31st, 2015)– “The Scorpion,” Bika returns to the ring with a flourish on 4th April, challenging formidable WBC Light Heavyweight Champion, Adonis “Superman” Stevenson in Quebec, Canada.

Adonis Stevenson is rated as the best light heavyweight in the world and has not been defeated in the past five years, sporting an impressive record of 25 wins (21 by KO) and only one loss. The bout will be televised on Al Haymon’s “Premier Boxing Champions” series and will be shown live in Australia, via Main Event with the telecast starting at 5am on Sunday 5th April 2015.

Sakio has undergone his exacting training camp in the US and is set on making history. “Training has gone really well, Florida was a fantastic place to train. My preparation for this fight has been perfect, I feel strong and I look forward to testing Adonis.

“I am very confident that I can handle Adonis’ power but can he handle mine? On April 4th we will see! I will show the world that I belong at light heavyweight when I strip Adonis of the title and become a two division WBC Champion.”

Sakio BIka’s career record is 32 wins (21 by KO), 6 loses and 3 draws. Sakio won the Australian middleweight title, before his victory in Season 3 of the American reality TV show ‘THE CONTENDER’. He defeated Mexican Marco Antonio Periban in June 2013 to be crowned the WBC super-middleweight Champion.
