GUERRERO VS. THURMAN & BRONER VS. MOLINA RESULTS
Las Vegas, NV (March 8th, 2015)– Keith Thurman won a 12 round unanimous decision over Robert Guerrero in the main event of NBC’s Premier Boxing Champions. Thurman successfully fought from the outside and controlled the exchanges on the inside as well. One Time scored the only knockdown of the fight in round 9. Scores were 120-107, 118-108 and 118 108.
Adrien Broner won a lopsided 12 round decision over John Molina. Scores were 118-110 and 120-108 twice.
- “The environment I’m in today, a lot of them were not on my side, but at the end of the day the last time I fought for the crowd I took my first loss. So, no disrespect to everyone that came to see me fight today, I had to do what I had to do to get my victory today.”
- “Even a vicious guy like [John] Molina, as you can see I stood right inside of his face and didn’t go anywhere. I jabbed and took every shot that he threw. I took mine and won the fight unanimously.”
- “John Molina is a great fighter. He’s tough and he can hit. I had to be careful, but at the end of the day my defense was on point like a thorn and I’m still beautiful at the end of the fight.”
- “He wanted me to sit there and bang it out with him, but why would I do that when God gave me so many gifts.”

- “He should’ve kept his word and sit there and fight me. Everyone saw him running around in there. He did what he had to do to win, he won the fight. It was a tough fight and he’s a tough fighter and he boxes well, but he didn’t exchange well.”
- “He moves a lot and doesn’t like to exchange too much. When I got on the inside he said that I was holding him or leading with my head. I’m a professional and I tried to fight on the inside like I do.”
- “It is what it is, he got the victory tonight.”
- “There wasn’t much of a game plan to stick to because he kept running.”
