Irish Fighters O’Sullivan and Hyland Headline St. Patrick’s Pro-Am DiBella Garden Card

New York, NY (March 9th, 2015)– Irish middleweight contender Gary O’Sullivan and Irish featherweight contender Patrick ‘The Punisher’ Hyland will headline an exciting card of amateur and professional boxing at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, on Saturday evening, March 14, 2015, promoted by Lou DiBella Entertainment, featuring today’s most promising fighters in one of boxing’s most thrilling American venues.
The St. Patrick’s event will begin with an exciting amateur card, featuring the Dublin Ireland Police Department’s best amateur boxers facing the New York City Fire Department’s best amateur boxers in a five bout amateur card. Three DiBella Entertainment professional bouts will follow. Top promoter Lou DiBella noted “It’ll be a really cool event.”
Irish fighter Hyland, now 29-1, 13 knockouts, Dublin, Ireland, is coming off an eight round decision win over Ozcar Fiko of Romania in Dublin at 3Arena last November. Hyland will fight the MSG DiBella Entertainment 10 round main event against ‘El Pajanto’, southpaw Manuel De Los Reyes Herrera, 21-26-1, 15 knockouts, Planeta Rica, Columbia. Patrick Hyland, is predicted to win by TKO stoppage anytime from the fifth round onwards.
The preliminary to the main event will feature a comeback by super middleweight contender Will ‘Power’ Rosensky after a two year absence. Rosensky, 19-2, will face Paul Consalves, 7-5-1, three knockouts, Hyannis, Massachusetts, in an eight round.Rosensky is predicted to win by eight round unanimous decision.
Middleweight contender Gary ‘Spike’ O’ Sullivan, 19-1, 12 knockouts, Cork, Ireland, faces Milton ‘El Musil’ Nunez, 18-12-1, Barranquilla, Columbia, on the undercard. O’Sullivan is predicted to win by knockout in three rounds or less, if that long. O’Sullivan is a solid technical boxer with championship potential, with good power punches, who can cut off the ring and close the show in short order. Nunez has been in the ring with Gennady Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs, Sergio Mora, Matt Korobov, Dmitry Chudikov, Manny Siaca and other top prospects, and O’Sullivan will be tested. That is, for as long as it lasts.
