Venetian Resort, Macau, China (November 23, 2013)– Manny Pacquiao defeats Brandon in a unanimous decision, in his return after a one year lay off.
This was Manny’s first win in the last two years. Losing a split decision to Timothy Bradley, one in which many felt Pacquiao should of gotten the decision. Later on in November, Manny faced off once again for a fourth meeting with rival Juan Manuel Marquez, which ended with the pacman on the canvas.
The judges scorecards read: 120-108, 119-109, 118-110, it was a complete shut out. Coming into this fight many question If we would ever see the old Many Pacquiao, who once dominated in eight different weight classes and had impressive victories over bigger opponents. The question that lingered was, will Manny ever recover from that devastating knock out loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.
Manny performance was impressive as he continued to pound Rios with combinations and had him confused with his incredible footwork. Manny countered Rios repeatedly with straight left hands, which eventually caused a bad cut on Rio’s eyes. Rios on the other hand, came with his game face as he would continue coming forward and never gave up. True to his words Rios has the heart, but Manny Pacquiao is on a different level.
The Pacman had previously stated that he needed to win impressively, to show the world that he is not finished and he is far from it.
Bob Arum has stated that he would like to put together a fight against Ruslan Provodnikov, who is trained by Freddie Roach, however the real question has once again come to the spotlight and that is will we ever see a super fight against P4P king Floyd Mayweather ?
“Recovering from the knockout and giving a good show was what I wanted to prove to myself and everyone,” Pacquiao said.
.
Evgeny Gradovich repeated his victory performance against the worn-out Billy Dibs. The Roberto Garcia trained Gradovich took Dibs IBF featherweight title back in January. Not much changed since their first encounter. “The Russian Mexican” Gradovich got his punches off first and came forward without any difficulty slipping his punches. Dibs went down in round six and a few rounds later in the ninth the referee had seen enough.

Andy Ruiz Jr’s heavy punching took a toll on Tor Hamer. Hamer decided not to come out for round five. This was Ruiz’s second fight in a roll in Macao. The Mexican heavyweight retained the WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title, picked up the vacant NABF heavyweight title and is now in the championship picture.

Two time flyweight Chinese Olympic Gold medalist Zou Shiming pounded out a six round unanimous decision over outmatched Juan Tozcan. The judges saw it 60-52 and 60-54 twice.
