Paris, France, (September 5th, 2026)–Salahdine Parnasse couldn’t have scripted a better UFC debut. The two-division KSW champion needed just 2:35 to stop No. 10-ranked Dan Hooker in the Accor Arena main event, sending the partisan French crowd into hysterics and instantly establishing himself as a threat in the lightweight division. It capped a night with eight finishes across fourteen fights and not a single decision that went to a scorecard on the main card outside of two — the story of UFC Paris was speed, not survival.
Parnasse Announces Himself With Round 1 Stoppage of Hooker
Hooker opened with his usual kicking game, working the legs and looking to make it a long night, but Parnasse pushed forward behind his own low kicks before finding the fight-changing shot: a heavy body kick that doubled Hooker over and sent him retreating to the fence. Parnasse closed the door from there, landing a clean left hook in the flurry that forced the stoppage at 2:35 of round one. It’s Parnasse’s sixth straight win, all by stoppage, and a statement that the former outside-the-UFC standout belongs at the level everyone expected. For Hooker, it’s a third consecutive loss by finish, following stoppages to Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis, and a result that’s already reopened the conversation about what’s next for the 36-year-old veteran.
Sola Shocks Ziam in the Co-Main
The other half of Paris’s all-French showcase went almost as fast. Axel Sola blitzed Fares Ziam with an overhand left that turned the lights off in an instant at 1:40 of round one, even after Ziam had landed a swinging elbow of his own moments earlier — a finish that says as much about Sola’s chin as his power. It’s Sola’s second win in as many trips to Paris and a second straight first-round finish, and the lightweight division has a new name to watch.
Page Grinds Past Ruziboev, Donchenko and Campbell Get It Done
Not everything ended early. Michael “Venom” Page and Nursulton Ruziboev went the distance in a cagey, low-output affair at middleweight, with the judges awarding Page a clean sweep (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) to push him to four straight wins. Daniil Donchenko out-worked Punahele Soriano over three rounds for a unanimous decision, hurting the Hawaiian early and doing enough down the stretch to run his win streak to eight, and called for Daniel Rodriguez afterward. Kurtis Campbell turned in the best performance of his short UFC career against Trevor Peek, battering him with elbows from the mount before locking up a third-round rear-naked choke for his first Octagon win. Losene Keita opened the main card with a highlight-reel knockout of his own, dropping Muhammad Naimov with a jab before finishing him with a clean right hook and hopping the fence to celebrate in the front row.
Bonuses
No Fight of the Night was awarded, but four Performance of the Night bonuses went out: Salahdine Parnasse, Axel Sola, Losene Keita, and heavyweight Mario Pinto, who finished Ryan Spann early in round two.
