 Detroit, Mi, (December 17th, 2021)– On Friday evening, December 17, 2021, Carlos Llinas CLIP Promotions will present an exciting 13 bout amateur and professional Mixed Martial Arts show entitled MotorCity Casino Cage Night IX at Sound Board Nightclub, MotorCity Casino, Detroit, Michigan, as the premiere December Detroit area weekend sporting event preceding the Christmas 2021 and New Year’s Holiday 2022. All amateur and professional bouts are approved by the Michigan Unarmed Combat Commission.

The Carlos Llinas CLIP Promotions MMA card at Sound Board, MotorCity Casino Detroit, will open with eight exciting three-round amateur MMA bouts featuring top area local prospects. Bout one will feature a three-round amateur bout at 155 pounds between Lashawn Neal of Mt. Clemens, Michigan versus Blake Sloan of Detroit, Michigan. Bout two will feature a three-round amateur bout at 135 pounds between Christian Towell of Lincoln Park, Michigan, and Kyle Hanshaw of Bay City, Michigan. Bout three will feature an amateur bout at 165 pounds between Mike Strong of Sturgis, Michigan, versus Austin Martinez, also of Sturgis, Michigan. Bout four will feature an amateur bout at 145 pounds between Teigan Holmes of Detroit, Michigan versus Jace Jones IV of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bout five will feature an amateur bout at 145 pounds between Reese Keely of Detroit, Michigan, and Conor Helmrich of Macon, Michigan. Bout six will feature a three-round amateur bout between Jordan Winters Owens of Detroit, Michigan, versus Brock Freeze of Elkhart, Indiana, the only non-Michigan participant of the evening card. Bout seven will feature a three-round amateur bout at 185 pounds between Tyler Wildmo of St. John’s, Michigan, versus Ronald London of Battle Creek, Michigan. Bout eight will feature a three round amateur bout at 180 pounds between Ahmad Rathur of Detroit, Michigan, versus Ethan Pauley of Livonia, Michigan.

Five professional MMA bouts featuring top Michigan pro prospects will then continue the exciting card. Bout nine will feature a three-round pro bout at 160 pounds welterweight between Tyler Grimsley of Macomb, Michigan, versus Joshua Guthrie, of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bout 10 will feature a three-round pro bout at 135 pounds bantamweight between Mario “The Infamous Spider” Aguilar, 1-3, Team IMMA Detroit, from Detroit, Michigan, versus 2-6 Usama Rahman of Detroit, Michigan. Bout 11 will feature a three-round pro bout at 200 pounds light heavyweight between 0-2 Mike “The Monster” Johnson of Ferndale, Michigan, versus 2-3 Travis Murchison of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bout 12 will feature a three-round pro bout at 265 pounds heavyweight between 1-4 Anthony Coleman of Detroit, Michigan, versus 7-14 Marcus Maulding of Scorpion Fighting System, Southwest Detroit, Michigan. Bout 13, the final bout on the card, will feature a three-round pro bout at 165 pounds welterweight between 7-4 Konnor Kuppe of Macomb Martial Arts, Macomb, Michigan, versus 5-7 Antoine “The Cash Alpha” Blassingame of Flint, Michigan.

 

All spectators must be 21 or over at the Sound Board MotorCity Casino MMA event and must present valid photo identification.
