Detroit, Michigan (November 17th, 2021)– Carlos Ilinas and CLIP Promotions will present Night of Knockouts XIX, an exciting ten-bout card of professional boxing on Friday, November 9, 2021, at Soundboard Night Club, Motor City Casino, in Detroit, Michigan. Area heavyweight veteran Rydell Booker will be featured in the six-round co-main event against former world heavyweight title challenger Ray Austin. Booker, 26-4 with 13 knockouts, a winner of four of his last seven bouts since returning to the ring after a 14 years absence, will be tested by Austin, 29-10-4 with 18 knockouts, Cleveland, Ohio. Austin fought Wladimir Klitschko for the world heavyweight title, has fought such world champions as Andy Ruiz, Bermane Stiverne and Sultan Ibragimov, and fought contenders Andrew Golota, Larry Donald, Gerald Washington.
Southpaw Darryl Cunningham, 43-9 with 19 knockouts, Detroit, Michigan, will fight the six-round middleweight co-main event against dangerous Antonio Louis Hernandez, 5-11-2 with three knockouts, Kansas City, Kansas. Hernandez is 4-2-2 in his last eight pro bouts, including an upset of 9-0 unbeaten fighter Destyne Butler, and a draw with 9-0 Keonte Irving in his last bout in September 2021.
Eight four-round prospects bouts will open the card. 1-0 Detroit middleweight Antonio Daniels Jr. will face debuting Javonni Bennett of Chicago, Illinois. 2-1 Garrett Ross of Sterling Heights, Michigan, will face 1-0 Isaiah Gathings Jr. of Henderson, Nevada. 1-2 heavyweight Tyler Perault of Southgate, Michigan, will face 5-8 Curtis Head of Inkster, Michigan. 2-1 female super lightweight Nicole Reinhart will face debuting Gabriel Hayes of Detroit (two-minute rounds); 3-0 southpaw middleweight Jermarco Holloway of Redford, Michigan, will face debuting Rodrigo Solis of Holland, Michigan; 1-0 welterweight Dwayne Taylor of Lincoln Park, Michigan, will face debuting southpaw Trequan Shields of Detroit, Michigan; 1-0 lightweight Samuel Rizzo of Plymouth, Michigan, will face 5-3 southpaw Akeem Jackson of Oxon Hill, Maryland; and 1-0 lightweight Munib Al Salmani of Dearborn, Michigan, will face 0-1 Clayton Crossian of Battle Creek, Michigan.
