Las Vegas Nevada, (September 21, 2018)– Mayweather Promotions presents a 10-Round Super Lightweight battle featuring Cameron Krael (13-13-3, 3KO’s) vs. top contender Jose Borrego (14-1-0, 13 KO’s). The action is set to jump off Saturday, September 22nd at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall. A Lightweight Co-Main Event is scheduled as well featuring Xavier Martinez (11-0-0, 7KO’s) vs. Oscar Bravo (22-8-0, 10 KO’s).
Cameron Krael, despite his record and considering switching trainers, believes he has a fighting chance against Borrego by way of boxing, not brawling. Krael stated, “on September 22nd everyone will see a smarter, new and improved Cam. “I switched trainers, so we’ll see how it goes. Going into this fight the game plan is to box my opponent because he’s a brawler. We’re working very hard on head movement and condition and staying on the outside as much as possible.”
