
Errol Spence vs. Leonard Bundu is Set
New York, NY (June 28th, 2016)– #2 IBF welterweight contender Errol Spence (20-0, 17 KOs) will be facing #7 IBF Leonard Bundu (33-1-2, 12 KOs) on August 21 at the Amphitheater in Coney Island, New York, which seats 5000, according to Dan Rafael. The Spence-Bundu fight will be televised on Premier Boxing Champions on NBC.
The winner of this fight will be the IBF mandatory for Kell Brook.
The Italian, Bundu, 41, has only lost to Keith Thurman by a decision in his career. Bundu was a silver medalist at the 2000 Olympic games.
Errol Spence is coming off a spectacular performance where he finished the tough Chris Algieri for the first time by a 6th round TKO.
