Las Vegas, NV (June 20, 2015)– Big Knockout Boxing is the latest combat sport for our entertainment and it’s sparking interest to the boxing world. If you are an unfamiliar with the sport it’s still a boxing match but in a whole new setting. Instead of a traditional square boxing ring Big Knockout Boxing has a circle ring which they call the pit and it’s half the size of a traditional ring. The pit also has no ropes, if you step out of the pit the referee will take a point away. And to top it all off the whole fight is only 7 rounds which consist of only 2 minutes each. This creates an atmosphere that inevitably will lead to a knockout.
Big Knockout Boxing will have it’s next fight night at the Mandalay Bay June 27th which includes prominent names such as Jesus Soto Karass and Shane Mosley Jr. . In the main bout Julian Pollard will be facing off with kickboxing champ, Tyrone Spong, a fight where a knockout will give the winner a $30,000 bonus. The fight can be seen through DIRECTV or Dish pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET at a price of $29.95. Hopefully the night will produce, as the name implies, “big knockouts” and keep the fans begging for more.
