Travis Kauffman To Fight Jason Barnett in Reading Rumble at Santander Arena

Here comes the Reading Rumble! World ranked top ten heavyweight contender Travis Kauffman will fight Jason Barnett in the main event of a seven boxing bout card presented by Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions on Saturday evening, November 30, 2013, at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. Kauffman, 26-1, 19 knockouts, will face Jason Barnett, 17-14, seven knockouts, in an exciting eight round bout. In his most recent ring appearance, Barnett knocked out 6-2 Terrance Marbra in Florida. Barnett has been in the ring with well-known heavyweights such as VinnyMaddalone, Audley Harrison, AndriyRudenko, Alex Leapai, Mike Perez, Luis Ortiz, Eric Leander and and Jason Gavern. Perez, Rudenko, Leander and Ortiz had an impressive combined record of 47-0 at the time Barnett fought them. Watch out! Barnett knocked out the 8-0 Leander in the second round.
The undercard will also feature a six round bout between Puerto Rican southpaw super featherweight prospect Frank Santos De Alba, 9-1, three knockouts, against the always ready and dangerous 9-7 Haitian trial horse Osnel Charles of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Also on the card will be: a six round welterweight bout between Evincii Dixon versus Rafael Montalvo; a four round featherweight bout between debuting Wilfredo Morales of Brooklyn versus Jesus Gonzales; a four round light welterweight bout between Emil Rodriguez and Travis Thompson; a four round light heavyweight bout between rising 3-0 Philadelphia prospect Khalib Whitmore versus Mark Baltimore; and a four round heavyweight bout featuring Randy Easton.
