ANDERSON SILVA VS. CHRIS WEIDMAN 2 CONFIRMED FOR DECEMBER 28th
Las Vegas, NV (July 13th, 2013)– Dana White announced today on ESPN that the Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman rematch will take place December 28th at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Anderson Silva lost for the first time in 16 fights in the UFC last week to Chris Weidman by KO. Anderson said he did not want a rematch after his loss. However, he decided he wanted his title back. This fight will be the biggest rematch in UFC history and will break some records. Despite the loss, Anderson Silva still remains the favorite in the rematch.
Now the original main event rematch, Miesha Tate vs. Ronda Rousey, will now become the co-main event.
