Into The Future With 2012 Olympian Taras Shelestyuk

Banner Promotions might have its next world light middleweight champion in the future with 2012 Ukrainian Olympian Taras Shelestyuk. With an amateur record of 195-15, Taras was the 2011 World Championships Gold Medalist in Baku, Azerbaijan, winning all six of his matches.
Taras, now 3-0 as a professional, turned pro on March 13, 2013, with a first round knockout of Kamal Muhammad at Turning Stone casino in Verona, New York, on March 29, 2013. Taras has appeared twice since, knocking out Brandon Adams in the fourth round in Corona, California, on May 2, 2013, and knocking out Mario Angeles in Ontario California in the fourth round on May 17, 2013, in, Ontario, California. The young man, this reporter notes, has a promising future and is well on his way.
