RYAN BADER VS. RAMPAGE JACKSON (Co- Main Event)

RD 1: Early in the round Bader is looking good landing some overhand right hands.  Bader footwork looks real nice, but Rampage landed a nice left hand at the end of the round. The round definitely went to Bader. He was able to control the stand up most of the round.

RD 2

Rampage pulls off a tremendous slam, but Bader recovered and was able to take Jackson down. Bader is working some nasty ground and pound. Bader is dominating this round and Bader uses a double leg to take down Rampage again. Another round for Bader.

RD 3

Bader comes out in this round controlling the distance. Bader takes down Rampage and is controlling Rampage, landing many shots. Bader almost pulls off a Kimura and a choke at the end of the round. Bader just dominated this round.

Ryan Bader dec. over Rampage Jackson (30-27, 30-27, 30, 27)

MAIN EVENT: FRANKIE EDGAR VS. BEN HENDERSON

RD1:

Edgar catches a kick early. Both fighters exchanging low kicks. Edgar throws Henderson down early . Henderson gets to his feet fast. Edgar misses a head kick and a spinning backfist early. The round is pretty even but I scored it 10-9 Edgar.

RD 2:

Henderson lands some solid kicks and knees . Henderson is controlling range most of the round and continues to land kicks. Edgar pulls off a late takedown, but Henderson finishes the round with a tremendous up-kick. Henderson definitely won this round 10-9.

RD 3:

Edgar appears to have a broken nose. Henderson takes down Edgar and Edgar’s eye seems to be closing. Edgar works his way back to up to his feet. Edgar and Henderson exchange punches and Edgar pulls off a late takedown at the end. I scored it 10-9 for Henderson.

RD4

Henderson catches Edgar with a low blow by a sharp kick to cause a time out. Edgar pulls off a great double leg takedown and falls into a guillotine choke by Henderson. Edgar escapes the choke. Henderson works right back up to his feet.
Henderson lands some solid kicks and finished the round with a solid combination.I scored this round for Henderson 10-9.

RD 5

A couple a failed takedown attempts by Edgar . Edgar lands a nice left and a nice right hand. Henderson lands a big right hand and is defending Edgar’s takedown very well.  Edgar drops Henderson with a solid right and Henderson bounces right back up. The final minute had great action back in forth with Henderson stuffing the takedown at the end then landing on top of Edgar.  A great fight !!! This round I scored it 10-10,

BEN HENDERSON WIN BY UD (48-47, 48-47 49-46) AND IS THE NEW CHAMPION !!!

Anthony Pettis is probably be next or a Frankie Edgar rematch may happen. I feel Ben Henderson wants to avenge his only UFC loss to Anthony Pettis by a flying kick off the cage, late in 2010.

Frankie Edgar felt he had won the fight. Real Combat Media MMA scored the fight 49-47 for Ben Henderson.
