Tito Bracero To Fight Mike Torres at Roseland Ballroom on April 4

Brooklyn, NY ( March 16th, 2013)– DiBella Entertainment light welterweight prospect Gabriel ‘Tito’ Bracero, A Puerto Rican out of Brooklyn, New York, will fight Mike Torres of Jersey City, New Jersey in an eight rounder at Roseland Ballroom in New York City on April 4, 2013, as part of an 11 bout card promoted by Lou DiBella and DiBella Entertainment.
” I look forward to the challenge. That’s what makes me train hard. That’s what makes it fun,” stated Bracero to Real Combat Media when reached by telephone.
Other fighters scheduled to appear on the card include welterweight Ionut Dan Ion,
super bantamweight Luis Orlando Del Valle, light middleweight Yuri Foreman, light heavyweight Travis Peterkin, and female super bantamweight Heather Hardy.
Bracero, now 21-1 with four knockouts, is a fine technical fighter most competitors prefer to avoid. Bracero is one for two in ten rounder bouts, and should step in competition after this tune up. The tune up might not be easy as Torres, 14-3 with seven knockouts, stands four inches taller than Bracero and has a four inch reach advantage.
Bracero’s key to victory here is getting inside on Torres immediately and putting on relentless pressure. Torres has been out of the ring since November 2011 and will certainly be rusty. Bracero also has to get off first on Torres, set the pace and the tempo of the fight, put rounds in the bank and not let Torres back into the fight. He will also have to be the busier fighter once he gets inside. If Torres can keep Bracero out of range, Bracero will be in trouble. Bracero must be careful of Torres’ height and reach advantage, so Bracero is better off as a counterpuncher rather than rushing in and taking unnecessary changes.
Prediction: Gabriel Bracero Win 8 Mike Torres
