Chino Lopez Goes to 15-0, Outclasses Henderson in Five at Osceola Heritage Park
By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent
Kissimmee, Florida (September 28th, 2025)– Unbeaten Puerto Rican light heavyweight prospect Najee ‘Chino’ Lopez went to 15-0, 12 knockouts, with a fifth-round stoppage of Kelvin Henderson, 19-3-1 with 13 knockouts, Fayetteville, Arkansas, in a ProBox main event from Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, Florida, on a 10 bout card.
After a cautious first, Lopez took command, going around Henderson in circles and nailing him with the right jab. Lopez outjabbed Henderson 81 to nine in the first three rounds. Right jabs and right jabs to the face kept Henderson on the defensive throughout. A spectacular combination of punches to the head sent Henderson staggering and reeling backwards into the ropes, where a devastating combination of help shots left Henderson helpless and defenseless. Referee Massimo Montanini waved off the bout at 55 seconds of round five.
The fifteenth win propelled Lopez to the number 11 worldwide BoxRec light heavyweight ranking, ten names behind world champion Dmitriy Bivol, and one place ahead of IBF USBA champion Ali Izmailov. With names like Artur Beterbiev, David Benavidez, Callum Smith, David Morrell, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Albert Ramirez, and Anthony Yarde above him, Lopez’s next bout could be his major test step-up bout if he is to angle in position for a shot at the world title.
Promoter Garry Jones of ProBox will present his next ProBox show on Friday, November 7, 2025, at RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida, featuring 15-2 welterweight Nicklaus Flaz of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, versus 16-0 Delante Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, in the scheduled 10 rounds main event.
