Boxxer Knockout Night 35 Card Poland, WBC Rozanski vs. Okolie Bridgerweight Card Preview

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Rzeszow, Poland (May 23rd, 2024)– United Kingdom Sky Sports and Poland TVP Sport will present an internationally televised six bout card of professional boxing on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Hala na Podpromiu, Rzeszow, Poland, entitled Boxxer Knockout Night 35, featuring the scheduled 12 round World Boxing Council World Bridgerweight title bout in the main event.

Okolie, 19-1 with 14 knockouts, Hackney, London, United Kingdom, the former World Boxing Organisation World Cruiserweight champion, is predicted to win by 12 round unanimous decision over Lukasz Rozanski, 15-0 with 14 knockouts, Rzeszow, Poland. Rozanski’s opposition has been washed up or limited at best. Okolie is fighting slightly up in the newly created Bridgerweight junior heavyweight class. Okolie is one class step up in opposition over Rozanski.

Okolie may bring the Bridgerweight division credibility, which it will need to become more widely recognized. The cruiserweight division rose up in much the same way. Okolie, like Oleksandr Usyk, is a cruiserweight who is now moving up in weight class. Still, one figures Okolie would be better off returning to cruiserweight in the future. Okolie has solid world class championship experience, and if successful on landing power shots early on, could take out Rozanski in the middle or championship rounds before round 10.

Undercard Predictions at Rzeszow, Poland
