Tony Ferguson Arrested in LA For DUI In a Serious Accident
Los Angeles, CA (May 7th, 2023)– Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson was arrested on Sunday for DUI after a serious crash near Hollywood.
According to Los Angeles police, Ferguson crashed his pickup truck into two parked vehicles outside of a Hollywood club around 2 a.m. Sunday. No one, including himself, was injured in the accident.
One of the vehicles hit was a Mercedes belonging to rapper Cash Gotti, who says his vehicle was totaled in the crash.
TMZ reports that Ferguson was “very uncooperative” after officers arrived at the scene and refused a field sobriety test. Officers found him with a profound smell of alcohol and bloodshot eyes.
Ferguson faces a misdemeanor DUI charge as a result of the incident and possible driver’s license suspension.
In the UFC, Tony Ferguson has 5 losses in a row and lost by submission to Nate Diaz at UFC 279.
