Goricki vs. Herrera in Croatia

ARIJAN “ARCHIE” GORICKI VS. CARIL “El Raton El Gallito del Cerro” HERRERA AT THE FAIR – PAVILION 18, ZAGREB, CROATIA OCTOBER 14

‘Archie’ (13-3, 6 KOs) is coming off a loss against Caril Herrera (43-6, 26 KOs) in March of this year, where he lost by knockout in the 10th round.

Arijan Gorički, 25, is ready to fight at the fair – Pavilion 18, Zagreb, Croatia.

Caril Herrera (43-6, 26 KOs) is an experienced boxer, as a professional he has 49 fights, 43 of which he won. He is extremely strong, as shown by his record of 43 victories, 26 of which did not reach the final gong. Like most boxers from South America, Herrera has the heart and will to win. Herrera is an experienced boxer and a Uruguayan boxing legend.

“I am glad that we will enter the ring together again so that he can correct his mistake. In the first fight, I led the entire fight, because of my desire to knock him out, I was the one who was knocked out 20 seconds before the end of the fight,” said Gorički .
“I’m a person who doesn’t know how to live in the middle, either I’ll be at the top, trying to get to the top, or I won’t be anywhere,” Gorički wrote on his Instagram profile. “For anyone who thinks they know the reason why I lost, there’s no reason to worry, I’m smart enough to see my mistake and work on it. There is only one reason why I was knocked out, and that’s because when you fight against world-class fighters who are strong, if you don’t see a punch, you will go to sleep, simple as that.

I chose a bad tactic for the fight but regardless of that I was still winning the whole fight comfortably. I never saw the punch because it came from an odd angle and southpaw stance, that’s why I paid the price and got lessons for the rest of my career. Thankfully I got a new date to correct the mistake and get back to where I was supposed to be. As in life, so in sports, any lesson that sets you back in your life is actually good for you, if you find out what the problem was, correct it and face the problem, it shouldn’t happen again in the future.. And it’s a good lesson to actually learn about yourself, who you really are, see who is with you and who your real friends are.”
