Russian Light Heavyweight Contender Ali Izmailov Featured, Salita Promotions Presents April Detroit Brawl at Ford Center

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Dearborn, MI (March 24th, 2022)– Promoter Dmitriy Salita and Salita Promotions will present an exciting six-bout card of boxing action at Ford Community Center on Saturday evening, April 2, 2022, featuring unbeaten light heavyweight prospects Al Izmailov and Abraham Tebes, and heavyweight prospects Brandon Moore and Curtis Harper in the scheduled 10 round co-main events.

Light heavyweight Izmailov, 7-0 with five knockouts, Detroit, Michigan by way of Malgobek, Russian Federation, is predicted to win by 10 round majority decision over Abraham Teves, 7-0 with three knockouts, Izquique, Chile, in the co-main event.

Heavyweight Moore, 11-0 with seven knockouts, Lakeland, Florida, is predicted to win by sixth round stoppage over Curtis Harper, 13-7 with nine knockouts, Jacksonville, Florida, who once went the eight round distance with heavyweight contender Chris Arreola. Harper’s performance depends on which version of Harper decides to show up. Harper, who once beat a 15-0, has won only one bout of his last five bouts in the past seven years.

Super lightweight contender Erick De Leon, 19-0 with 11 knockouts, Detroit, Michigan,  and Sabina, Mexico, is predicted to win by fourth or fifth-round knockout or stoppage over hot and cold journeyman Juan Jose “Piquet” Martinez, 28-11 with 21 knockouts, Mexico City, Mexico. 17-0 Joseph Aguire, 26-3 Tony Luis, and 35-2-1 Andres Gutierrez, are among fighters Martinez went eight rounds with in recent years. Martinez owns wins over 18-4 Jairo Lopez (Win 10), 23-6-2 Edgar Puerta (Win 8), 8-1 Bryan Vazquez (Win 6), and 8-3-1 Carlos Jimenez (Win Majority Decision 10) so it could be interesting. Martinez has been stopped seven times, three times in the first, so it depends which version of Martinez shows up. If Martinez gets out of the first round, De Leon could be in for a hard work long night.

Middleweight contender Timor Kerefov, 12-0 with six knockouts, Detroit, Michigan, by way of Shaluska, Russian Federation, is predicted to win by eight-round decision over Cleotis Pentarvis, 12-9 with nine knockouts, Lancaster, California. Super flyweight prospect David Alaverian, 5-0 with four knockouts, Las Vegas, Nevada, out the Floyd Mayweather Gym, by way of Nahariya, Israel, is favored to win by fourth-round stoppage over 9-9 Hungarian journeyman Jeno Tonte, a loser of his last seven bouts outside of Hungary. 1-0 super lightweight prospect Joshua James Pagan of Grand Rapids, Michigan, will open the card against debuting Jude Hammad of Arlington, Virginia, in a four-rounder. Pagan is predicted to win by four-round unanimous decision or stoppage
