Dynamite! Hot Boy Harris and Herrera Make Weight For Tonight’s Detroit Brawl

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Detroit, Mi (January 22, 2022)– Winfred “Hot Boy” Harris has made weight to face rugged Mexican veteran Esau Herrera, 19-13-1, eight knockouts, Mexico City, Mexico, for the regional LBF USMC Super Middleweight Championship. For regional and world title bouts, divisional weights must fall within required limits. Both Harris and Herrera made weight within the established titular 168 pounds super middleweight limit.

Salita Promotions will present a seven bout card of professional boxing at the Ford Center in Dearborn, Michigan, tonight, Saturday evening, January 22, 2022, featuring world ranked Detroit super middleweight contender Winfred “Hot Boy” Harris Jr. and Hugo “The Boss’ Centeno Jr. in the co-main events. Harris is predicted to win by KO or TKO between rounds four and seven. Centeno is predicted to win by KO between rounds four and six.

There were some good stare downs, but overall emotions were kept in check at the traditional weigh-ins at The Comfort Inn on Michigan Road in Dearborn, Michigan, not far from Fair Lane, the home of the late automobile pioneer inventor Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, and his late wife Clara Ford.
