DEONTAY WILDER RESPONDS TO EX TRAINER MARK BRELAND’S VIDEO
Mobile, Alabama (February 8th, 2020)—-Deontay Wilder lost a controversial rematch to Tyson Fury by 7th Round TKO on February 22, 2020. This was the first loss for the former WBC Heavyweight champion. Since then, there have been many accusations and conspiracies in the boxing community as to what happened the night when Mark Breland threw in the towel.
After the loss, Deontay Wilder then demanded a rematch with Tyson Fury, claimed his water was spiked with muscle relaxers by his assistant trainer, Mark Breland and accused his opponent of using loaded gloves in their most recent fight.
Mark Breland went on the Stamina for Sale You Tube Channel to discuss the accusations made by Deontay Wilder. Here is what he had to say.
“His (Wilder’s) career is over now, I’m done, and he’s done. I’m done with him.”
Breland also said, “Wilder only has his power, and we’ll see how far that takes him. That’s all I’m going to say.”
About spiking Wilders water, Breland said, “A lot of people know me; if you’re looking at tapes or whatever and stuff like that, You don’t ever see water in my hands. And regardless of that, I’m there to help you. When you win, I win.”
About Wilders loss Breland said, “Some people can’t take a loss, if you lose, you lose. Don’t blame everybody, go back and think about yourself.”
About if Fury’s gloves were dodgy and if he had some objects in them Breland said, “If he did, I don’t know. I doubt it very much, but at the same time, he aint going to beat Tyson Fury.”
Deontay Wilder then responded in an exclusive interview with 78 Sports TV as to his side of the story with his ex trainer Mark Breland. Here is what he had to say in the video below.
“This man was around me for so long. I fed this dude,” said Deontay Wilder to 78 Sports TV about his ex-trainer Mark Breland’s comments about him this weekend.
“Even when many people thought I outgrew him. Many wanted me to fire him, but I kept him on board. And to hear all these things that he’s saying, it’s crazy.
“It’s like, I’m the one that fed you, I’m the one that kept you around, You should have been gone a long time ago because of the love that I had, to continue to give you a job.
“Even after the fact with all the medical issues that he personally has going on with himself, I still kept him around.
“For him to betray me and say all this stuff, it is a little hurtful only for these simple facts that how close I had him with my family.
“It just allows me to believe that he had something deeper rooted about me. I can understand why. What the f*** did I do? He knows what type of person I am.
“Where is it all coming from?” Deontay asked. “Is it because where I was in life and your career was short? It could be a jealousy thing. I can’t understand where it’s coming from.
