Floyd Mayweather’s Daughter Iyanna Released on 30 Thousand Dollars Bail After Stabbing Female Rival

Houston, TX (April 5th, 2020)– In a new development in the story sending mega shockwaves through the boxing world, Iyanna ‘Yaya’ Mayweather, the daughter of former multi-division world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., was arrested on April 4, 2020, and charged for felonious aggravated assault for twice stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, age 25. Ms. Mayweather was released on 30 thousand dollars bail, and is scheduled to return to court today (Monday).
Ms. Mayweather, 19, was taken to jail in Harris County, Texas, around 1:30 a.m. on April 4, 2020, after stabbing Ms. Jacobs in a rap star lover’s triangle quarrel. Ms. Jacobs, was hospitalized, underwent surgery for her knife wounds. Jacobs also claims to be dating NBA Youngboy, and is the mother of one of his four children. It appears Miss Mayweather has been dating and romantically involved in an off again and on again relationship with rap star NBA Youngboy, a 20-year-old rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her relationship originally ended in late 2019 with Youngboy, after a breakup incident in which Ms. Mayweather slashed Youngboy’s car tires. Mr. Youngboy wrote a rap song about their relationship entitled ‘Dirty Iyanna’. The two lovers later reconciled, and Ms. Mayweather continued to show off her engagement ring.
Rumors about Mr. Youngboy’s infidelities recently surfaced on Instagram, where Mr. Yougboy claimed he did not have a steady girlfriend, and preferred to keep multiple women close to him. That remark may have led to the stabbing in question. According to authorities, on April 4, 2020 at the rapper NBA Youngboy’s home in Houston, Texas, where Ms. Jacobs was in the company of the rapper, Ms. Mayweather allegedly arrived at the house, got inside, introduced herself as NBA Youngboy’s fiancée, and asked Ms. Jacobs to leave. A heated argument ensued, and wound up in the kitchen of the home, where Ms. Mayweather grabbed two kitchen knives, lunged at Jacobs, and stabbed her twice. Ms. Mayweather claims self-defense, stating she was forced to defend herself after Ms. Jacobs pulled her hair.
It was the second recent tragedy for Floyd. His trainer and uncle, former super featherweight and junior welterweight world champion Roger Mayweather, died March 17. Floyd, 43, 50-0 with 27 knockouts, Las Vegas, Nevada, known as ‘Pretty Boy’ and ‘Money’, won fifteen world titles in five weight classes between 1996 and 2017, and currently works internationally as a noted professional boxing promoter.
