Bosnian Cruiserweight Mrkanovic Featured on Glacier Gatorade

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Cruiserweight Armin ‘The Bosnian Prince’ Mrkanovic of Bosnia and Queens, New York, a Real Combat Media interviewee who will fight Wilmer Mejia for the vacant World Boxing Association Fedecaribe Cruiserweight title on March 31, 2019, at Club Plaza Valerio, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, has taken his intense drive to succeed to a whole new level of endorsement and sports achievement.

Mrkanovic’s photo likeness is now featured on the zero sugar Arctic Frost Glacier Cherry flavor of Gatorade sports drink, available now on the shelves of supermarkets and convenience stores.

To the best of this reporter’s knowledge, this is the first time a professional boxer has been featured on a bottle of the legendary Gatorade sports drink. The concept is that the legendary Gatorage sports drink of athletes gives the motivated and hard-working athlete an extra rush in the form of an immediate adrenalin boost of energy. Mrkanovic will need all of that and more as he makes final preparations for his second career regional title bout this month is several weeks, and his first titular bout outside of the United States. Mrkanovic’s dream of fighting for a share of the world cruiserweight title in Bosnia, his country of origin, remains a distinct possibility if he wins on March 31.
