The televised portion of the card is scheduled to go live at 10 P.M. ET/PT.
USA Showtime Special Edition Televised Portion of Card
Undefeated Clarissa Shields, 5-0, Flint, Michigan, the IBF and WBC Female World Super Middleweight champion, will face 18-1-1 Hanna Gabriels of Alajuela, Costa Rica, the WBA and WBO Female World Super Welterweight champion, for the vacant International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association Female World Middleweight championships, ten rounds at two minutes each scheduled. Shields is favored to win by ten round decision by virtue of having the higher weight experience and advantage, gaining power coming down in weight, then probably going back to 167 pounds after the weigh in.
22-0 Christina Hammer of Dortmund, Germany, will defend her World Boxing Council and World Boxing Organization Female World Middleweight championship belts against 17-1-3 Tori Nelson of Ashburn, Virginia, ten rounds at two minutes each scheduled. Hammer, 27, in her first bout outside of Germany, is favored over the 41-year-old Nelson.
21-1 Russian light heavyweight prospect Umar Salamov of Henderson, Nevada, is favored over 13-1 cruiserweight Brian Howard of Atlanta, Georgia, in a 12 round bout for the vacant International Boxing Federation North American Light heavyweight title.
Untelevised Portion of Card
13-0 Kazakhstan welterweight Bakhtiyar Eyubov of Houston, Texas, if favored to win by middle or late round knockout or stoppage over 21-1 Nicholas Givhan of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Eyubov has 11 knockouts in his 13 professional bouts, a kayo percentage of 85 percent.
Russian light heavyweight Aslambek Idigov, 12-0, Las Vegas, Nevada, is favored to win over James Ballard, 10-1, Detroit, Michigan. Both fighters are technical fighters, without many knockouts, however, Idigov won a 10 round decision in 2016, and Ballard has never gone 10 rounds, so Idigov has the edge.
14-0-1 Apti Davtaev of Kurchaloi, Russia, is favored to win by second or third round knockout over 16-10-1 journeyman Cory Phelps of Cattlettsburg, Kentucky. 8-01 Detroit bantamweight prospect Jarico O’Quinn is favored to win by fourth-round stoppage over Nigerian veteran Yaqub Kareem of West Bloomfield, Michigan.
