Kermit ‘ El Asesino’ Cintron Featured on King’s Promotions Card at Sands Bethlehem

Bethlehem, PA (February 13th, 2018)– The comeback of former world welterweight champion Kermit ‘El Asesino’ Cintron will be featured in the main event of an eight-bout card at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, promoted by Marshall Kauffman’s Kings Promotions, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
Cintron, 39-6-3 with 30 knockouts, Reading, Pennsylvania, will face 8-1 Marquis Taylor of Houston, Texas. Taylor has beaten an 8-0 fighter, but has never gone past the sixth round. Cintron is favored to win by knockout or stoppage between rounds seven and ten. The more experienced Cintron may start slow and cautious, as he has been out of the ring for eight months, but eventually, Taylor should fall.
In the preliminary bout to the main event, 15-0 super lightweight prospect Mykal ‘The Professor’ Fox of Forestville, Maryland, is favor to win by eight round majority decision over 14-1 Dominican Republic fighter Ricardo Garcia. Garcia’s record includes a victory over a 13-0 fighter, so the eight rounder promises to be an exciting close contest.
22-2 Newark, New Jersey heavyweight veteran Joe Hanks is favored to win by knockout between rounds two, three, and four over 14-9-2 Nick Guivas of Topeka, Kansas. Guivas has won only three of his last 10 bouts, and at age 39, cannot keep up with the pace of an eight round bout. Guivas has never gone past six rounds, and Hanks will finish him much sooner than that.
Undefeated Maryland middleweight prospect Blake Mansfield is also featured on the card,as well as Allentown, Pennsylvania local prospects Juan Sanchez and Martin Jules.
