Liverpool, UK (March 11th, 2017)– During the Floyd Mayweather UK media tour “Undefeated” on Friday night in Liverpool, UK, Mayweather announced his retirement has ended that has lasted 18 months since he defeated Andre Berto in 2015. Floyd said he ended retirement so he can fight Conor McGregor in June.
In order for this highly anticipated boxing match to happen, Conor McGregor still needs permission from the UFC because he still has a few fights remaining on his contract. Here is what Mayweather had to say below and his personal message to Conor McGregor in the video below.
“I want y’all to record this…put this on the internet ASAP…when I faced Arturo Gatti, I went to his turf, he was the A-side, I was the B-side…when I faced Oscar De La Hoya, he was the A-side, I was the B-side…for Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement just to fight Conor McGregor…fight me in June…if you want to fight, sign the paperwork,” stated retired undefeated former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, who spoke to fans during a recent stop on his UK tour.
