It’s a night of champions at Battle Arena 39, including both United Kingdom and European Titles at stake. Fighters are coming from the UK, Hungry, France, Ireland, Poland, Latvia and Norway to fight in the Battle Arena cage.

The title fights will include:

World lightweight championship – Khalsa vs Moutama

European Featherweight championship – Macdonald vs Springer

European Welterweight championship – Plant vs Roby

British Light heavyweight championship – Hodgson vs Byfield

British Bantamweight championship – Holmes vs Petroff

The featured fight of the night is a featherweight battle between Callum MacDonald and Justin Springer. Both of these men are must-watch material.

MacDonald hasn’t been competing for too long, but during his time in the cage, he has shown flashes of brilliance. A win on Saturday would be very beneficial for him, and continue his ascension up the Battle Arena 145-pound ladder.

Considering his inexperience, it’ll be interesting to see how MacDonald will fair in front of what will be a raucous crowd in Birmingham, UK

Justin Springer is in the same boat as MacDonald as well; the fighter currently holds a record of 2-1, but has shown vast improvement in each bout. Springer is likely the slight underdog again MacDonald this weekend, but a convincing victory could make him a highly coveted prospect.

Even though both of these men are green in the sport, they have already proven to be all-action fighters.

If you are looking for a can’t miss fight this weekend, make sure you tune in to Battle Arena 39.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Reality Fighting: Billy Giovanella v John Lopez
May 28, 2016 7:00 PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Reality Fighting returns to the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Two title fights have been signed. Johnny Lopez will face Billy Giovanella for the Flyweight Title. Blair Tugman will battle Walter Smith-Cotito for the Bantamweight Title.

If you’re going to Mohegan Sun Casino this weekend to watch the Reality Fighting event, please stand up!

Looking to shake up the Flyweight division and pick up the vacant Reality Fighting Flyweight title is the “Wolverine” himself, Billy Giovanella. Coming off a convincing win in Bellator 144, Giovanella defeated his opponent in just one minute via a nasty choke.

Even though Giovanella didn’t earn another fight in the Bellator cage, his performance alone proves that he’s not afraid of the limelight.

Could a victory this weekend earn him a UFC roster spot?

Of course, “Mr. Nice Guy” Johnny Lopez isn’t going to be anyone’s stepping-stone.

Expect Lopez to make a statement and fire up the crowd at the Mohegan Sun with a riveting performance. Considering the Connecticut native is walking into the arena with home field advantage, you know he won’t let down his friends and family in attendance.

After making quick work of his last opponent in the first round, Lopez is currently on a streak with five wins under his belt.

Blair Tugman vs. Walter Smith-Cotito

Reality Fighting is spoiling the audience in attendance this weekend!

Another Bellator veteran in Blair Tugman will grace the cage this weekend as he squares up against Walter Smith-Cotito in front of a pack crowd at Mohegan Sun, and you can expect a war from these two Bantamweight prospects.

Having a recent victory at Bellator 153, Tugman returns to the regional scene in order to continue to hone his craft. Considering he is no stranger to the limelight and has home field advantage to boot, Tugman is walking into the cage as the major favorite.

Smith on the other hand may be desperate for a win, which often provides a thrilling contest for fans.

While currently holding a rather pedestrian record of 3-4, Smith must hope to overwhelm his opponent in the cage with everything he’s learned in the Team Link Hooksett affiliate.

In order to win, Smith will need to fight for the finish or be finished, making this a must watch fight for all MMA fans. For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Snoqualmie Casino and Combat Games MMA are proud to present Rumble on the Ridge XXXIV. Live MMA action at the Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom on Saturday, May 28th. Don’t miss top MMA fighters from across the western US leave it all in the cage.

The main event for CGMMA looks to be a battle of will and perseverance, in a highly anticipated rematch.

The crafty Pierotti is looking to further add to his rather green resume by adding another W to his current streak. Currently boasting a record of 2-0, the Washington native is looking to justify those that call him a legitimate UFC talent.

On the other hand, Uluilakepa is rather seasoned and primed for another big victory over Pierotti this weekend. Having not fought in a title bout since 2012, Taki is hoping a victory this weekend will get him one step closer to 170-pound gold.

Taki Uluilakepa is on a mission to prove his first victory over Joey “Mama’s Boy” Pierotti was no fluke, but can he replicate his previous success this Saturday night?

The Washington native is looking to once again dish out major punishment to his opponent at Combat Games MMA: Rumble at the Ridge 34, live on PPV. This Welterweight bout between these two competitors will be highly entertaining for the folks watching at the Snoqualmie Casino in Washington, and you can watch it from the comfort of your home!

A ton is on the line this Saturday night.

Team Hard Knox fighter, Rob “Iron Man” Cann of Tacoma, will battle Oregon’s Matt Goff in a lightweight matchup. The local favorite Cann turned pro in 2013 and enters on a two-bout win streak, his last win coming over Nathan Thompson at Rumble on the Ridge 33.

Meanwhile, Goff has been a pro since 2008, took a long break between 2009 and 2015, and since returning to the cage last August has been active competing in 7 fights.

Issaquah’s “Flashy” Dex Montenegro and Spokane’s Nathan Thompson will throw down in a pro featherweight attraction. Fighting with Gracie Barra NW, Montenegro turned pro in 2011 and went 6-1 in his first 7 fights. Early this year though, Dex ran into a tough Eduardo Torres who stopped Montenegro in the 2nd. Against Thompson, the talented Montenegro will be looking to get back on the winning track with a strong performance.

Independent fighter Thompson has been active professionally since 2013, winning his first three bouts, but following with a No-contest and then three straight losses. Thompson will be looking to showcase his abilities in the COGA MMA cage and start another win streak for himself.

A pro 145 lb contest is set between Jeremie Montgomery and James “Jimbo” Martin. Team Wise’s Montgomery fights out of Seattle and enters with a 2-1 record, winning his last fight in February. Martin is with Combat Sport & Fitness, and is seeking his first pro win since 2012.

Another pro 145 lb contest is on tap with Ivan Salaverry/s Jose Hernandez taking on Spokane fighter by way of Maui, Jordan Mackin. Hernandez won his first pro fight last October at COGA MMA’s Battle at the Bay 13 and looks to remain unbeaten. Mackinâ??s last pro win came at Rumble on the Ridge 30 but he has dropped two since.

Seven amateur bouts will precede the pro card, including this featured amateur 145 lb clash between ACA’s Brock Eastman of Ellensburg and C’s Jake Furney of Everett.

Amateurs Jorge Juarez and Jorge Gaitan will battle at 145 lbs.

Livewire MMA’s Quinten Roppel takes on White Buffalo Warrior’s Aaron Ibanez in an amateur 185 lb contest.

Combat Sport & Fitness fighter Alex Lind will kickbox Bainbridge Boxing’s Anisa Ashiba at 135 lbs.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Driller Promotions: A-Town Throwdown IX

B.J. “Da Beast” Lacy hasn’t fought in Minnesota since 2013. That’s about to change. Lacy is fighting in the co-main event of Saturday’s A-Town Throwdown IX at the Austin Holiday Inn Conference Center.

Lacy is set to take on Wisconsin’s Adam Vanderveen, who’s 1-0 as a pro, in the co-main event at a catch weight of 215 pounds. Vanderveen trains with Jake Klipp at Pura Vida, while Lacy has been training in Las Vegas. He came home to Minnesota recently and has been looking to get back in the cage. Driller Promotions obliged after Danyelle Williams backed out of his scheduled bout with Vanderveen. Lacy (15-9-3) gladly stepped up on short notice.

“BJ is a Minnesota legend, so we were fortunate to get him in there when Danyelle Williams backed out of the fight,” Driller’s Jeremy Bjornberg said. BJ is never in a boring fight. He’s well-rounded, has better wrestling than people give him credit for, and he hits hard.

The night’s main event also is one to watch. Minnesota’s Heath Rud returns to action against arguably his toughest opponent to date, Wayman Carter, from Kansas. Carter is a veteran of Bellator, RFA and Titan. He’s 6-4 as a professional, but most of his lost have come against the best of the best. Carter has fought as high as heavyweight and multiple times at 205 pounds. He will meet Rud at 185 pounds. Rud is 6-1 as a pro, and he’s ranked No. 3 in Minnesota at 170 pounds. He’s a former standout wrestler from Byron.

Wayman is a true vet, a dude who’s fought everyone. He hits hard and he’s fun to watch, well rounded. Heath is a strong wrestler, he’s got a good gas tank and he’s tough to finish. He’s moving up a weight, but I think he’s tall enough and strong enough to handle it.

In addition to the two professional bouts, there are eight amateur bouts on the card.

Saturday will mark the Driller Promotions debut for Hector Millan Jr., who’s an Owatonna native now training with Thinh Hoang and Dan Leckel at Imperial Training Center in Rochester. Millan is 1-0 as an amateur, and he was an elite wrestler at Owatonna. Millan is taking on Alex Rodriguez (1-2), who trains with Juan Hernandez and the crew at Fight Squad MMA, at a catch weight of 140 pounds. Rodriguez has knockout power in both hands.

“Alex came highly recommended from Juan, and he said Alex hits very, very hard, especially for his size,” Bjornberg said. “Obviously when it comes to wrestling, Millan has the advantage. On the feet, tough, that’s going to be fun to watch. I’m excited for this one. Juan wanted a tough fight for Alex, and the kid stepped up to the challenge. I love it. It’s the kind of fight guys should be seeking out as amateurs. Hector sounds like a legit prospect, so I’m anxious to see what he can do, too.”

Millan is one of five Imperial Training Center fights on the card. Along with Rud and Millan, also competing Saturday from Imperial are Kurtis Harcey, J.C. Rogers and Jay Paulson. Victor Cabadas was scheduled to compete, but his opponent (Sam Hernandez) pulled out, and Cabadas declined a late replacement.

Austin’s own Bobbe Dulitz is set to square off with Mankato Clay Uddley at 155 pounds. Dulitz is looking to bounce back after a decision loss to Anthony McIntosh at A-Town Throwdown VIII. Dulitz is 5-7 as an amateur.

Uddley is 3-3 and he trains at Ignition in Mankato. “Love this fight; I think it has the potential to be very exciting,” Bjornberg said. “Both are pretty solid wrestlers, so I think the wrestling will equal out and hopefully we see a standup war.”

Imperial’s Rogers will be making his Driller debut against Austin’s Dustin Klapperick, who was success in his MMA debut at ATT VIII. “That’s another one that’s a sneaky pick for fight of the night; I expect this one to be a slugfest,” Bjornberg said.

Returning to the cage is former Jackson County Central standout wrestler Eliot Jurries. He’s set to square off against T Jay Stolp of Wisconsin. Bjornberg said, on paper, this isFor full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here
