SHANE MOSLEY WILL NOT FIGHT PORTER FOR THE WBA AND EXPLAINS WHY HE MADE THE GGG VS. CANELO ANNOUNCEMENT

Glendale, Arizona (May 25th, 2016)– The WBA mandatory challenger between the winner of Shane Mosley, 44, (49-9, 41 Kos) vs. David Avenesyan, 27, (21, 1, 1, 11 Kos) will be the mandatory challenger between the winner of Keith Thurman vs. Shawn Porter fight which is scheduled June 25th. Shane told Real Combat Media in video below that he will not fight Shawn Porter. Shane Mosley considers Shawn Porter a family member and a training partner who he spends time with away from the boxing gym.
Shane also explained that he is expecting a knockout victory over David Avenesyan and how his training camp has been going with his new trainer Roberto Duran.
Shane then explained the premature announcement he made on Twitter about the Canelo vs. Gennady Golovkin being a done deal. Shane also explained what he felt about Canelo vacating the WBC Middleweight Welterweight title last week during negotiations with Golovkin .
Mosley has a tough test this weekend against the younger tough Russian David Avenesyan who has never been finished in 23 professional bouts and only has one defeat. Mosley is coming off a KO victory over Ricardo Mayorga and a TKO win over Patrick Lopez in December 2015.
