Brisbane, Australia (April 27th, 2016)– At age 41, Randall Bailey, who has an 85 percent knockout ratio, got taken to school at the Convention & Exhibition Centre in Brisbane, Australia, on April 27, 2016, by Australian school teacher Jeff ‘The Hornet’ Horn, a 2012 Olympian and Brisbane native unbeaten in 15 bouts. Bailey, a three time world champion, got dropped by Horn in the second round, and gave up on his stool after round seven due to Horn’s superior body work which broke him down. At 46-9 with 39 knockouts, Bailey, of Miami, Florida, would be wise to call it a career after this type of loss. Bailey’s longtime boxing manager, Si Stern, died in Key West, Florida in 2015. Bailey was last stopped in an IBF world title bout by Juan Urango in 2009.
Horn, ranked as high as sixth in the world at welterweight, retained the International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization Inter-Continental Welterweight titles.
