Dirrell Brothers Trump Taj Mahal Atlantic City Spike TV Preview

Atlantic City, NJ (April 28th, 2016)– Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions and Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions will present an exciting 12 bout card of professional boxing at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel’s Mark Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Friday evening, April 29, 2016, featuring exciting boxing brothers Andre Dirrell and Anthony Dirrell, and knockout artist Jonathan Guzman, on Spike TV, with sponsorship from La Corona Extra.

 

In the main event, super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell, 24-2 with 16 knockouts, Flint, Michigan, will face Blake Caparello, 22-1, six knockouts, Greenvale, Australia, a southpaw light heavyweight now fighting his third bout at super middleweight. Andre Dirrell is favored to win by 10 round majority decision or late round stoppage in a close thriller technical war.

 

Andre’s younger brother, former World Boxing Council Super Middleweight champion Anthony Dirrell, 28-1-1 with 22 knockouts, Flint, Michigan, will face Caleb ‘Golden’ Truax, 26-2 with 16 knockouts, Osseo, Minnesota. Anthony Dirrell is favored to win by 10 round unanimous decision in an exciting contest. Dirrell could stop Truax midway through if he gets careless.

 

Jonathan ‘Salomon King’ Guzman, 20-0 with 20 knockouts, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will face Daniel ‘Bad Boy’ Rosas, 20-2 with 12 knockouts, Mexico City, Mexico, in a 12 round eliminator bout for the International Boxing Federation number two super bantamweight ratings position, and a future IBF world title opportunity. Guzman is favored to win by stoppage anytime from the eighth round onward in this important bout.
