Brooklyn, NY (December 4th, 2015)– Peter ‘Kid Chocolate’ Quillin, 32-0-1, 12 knockouts, Brooklyn, New York, the former World Boxing Organization World Middleweight champion, will decision Daniel Jacobs, 30-1 with 27 knockouts, Brooklyn, New York, over 12 rounds in the Showtime main event to win the World Boxing Association World Middleweight title on Saturday night, December 5, 2015, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Make no mistake about it, this bout could be the fight of the year. Jacobs has three WBA world title bouts of experience. Quillin will take the fight to Jacobs and win the bout on the cards. The Brooklyn crowd is split between Jacobs and Quillin fans, not enough to sway the verdict in a close bout. The winner on the cards will be the fighter who wins the bout outright. A knockout would make the outcome simpler. If a knockout does occur, Quillin would knock out Jacobs. A decision in an extremely close bout could wind up drawish, 113-113 or maybe 113-112, scorecards similar to the Peter Quillin-Andy Lee draw at Barclays in April 2015.

DiBella Entertainment presents an exciting 10 bout card of boxing entertainment at Barclays Center.

In the preliminary championship bout to the main event, southpaw Jesus Marcelo Andres Cuellar, 27-1, 21 knockouts, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the defending World Boxing Association World Featherweight champion, is favored to win by 12 round decision over Jonathan Oquendo, 26-4 with 16 knockouts, Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. Oquendo has won two 12 round bouts, but has been stopped in two other 12 round bouts. This will be a close and exciting bout, but the edge goes to the defending world champion.

Undercard Bout Predictions

Chris Algieri Win 10 Erick Bone, Welterweights
Algieri, a former World Welterweight champion, has superior experience over Bone.

Will Rosinsky KO 10 Joe Smith Jr., Light Heavyweights
Styles make fights. This is a battle of hard hitters. Someone has to go. Both fighters are promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing. A decision in this bout seems unlikely.

Marcus Browne TKO 5 Francisco Sierra, Light Heavyweights
16-0 southpaw prospect Browne favored. Sierra has lost six of last nine.

Heather Hardy Win 8 Noemy Bosques, Super Bantamweights
14-0 super bantamweight Hardy needs a world title. Bosques is a super flyweight.

Yuri Foreman Win 8 Lenwood Dozier, Light Middleweights
Comeback try of former WBA World Light Middleweight champion after two years out.

Titus Williams Win 4 Emmanuel Castro, Super Featherweights
Williams is the 2013 New York Daily News Golden Gloves champion.

John Hernandez TKO 4 Jack Grady, Lightweights
Huntington lightweight prospect Hernandez will dispose of winless Buffalo fighter Grady.

12-0 Cuban cruiserweight prospect Luis Garcia, Cork, Ireland, is also scheduled to appear.
