MANNY PACQUIAO VS. TIM BRADLEY 3 IS SET FOR APRIL

Las Vegas, NV (December 30, 2015)– Manny Pacquiao, 37, (57-6-2, 38 Kos) took his time in announcing his next opponent, set for April of 2016 in what could well be the welterweight’s final bout.
Terence Crawford, Amir Khan, Tim Bradley and Adrien Broner were the list of candidates.
Bob Arum confirmed that April 9th Manny Pacquiao will be fighting Tim Bradley, 31 (33-1-1 13 Kos) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Tim Bradley won the first fight by a controversial decision in June 2012 and lost his first against Pacquiao in the rematch in April of 2014. Many members of the press felt that Manny also won that first fight.
“It’s a done deal and it’s going to be a third fight against Tim Bradley. We took a lot of consideration knowing Bradley has improved a lot as a fighter since the last time they’ve met in 2014,” Arum told The Manila Times today (local time). “Bradley is happy about it of course and that’s really a competitive fight for Manny. The report about Adrien Broner fighting Pacquiao is untrue.”
Bradley will be defending the WBO title and is coming off a sensational performance being the first fighter to stop Brandon Rios.
Pacquiao, who has not fought since losing “The Fight of The Century” to Floyd Mayweather in May 2015, will be the significant favorite to beat Bradley for a second time. This time Bradley will have Teddy Atlas in his corner after Bradley left his long time trainer Joel Diaz earlier in the year.
Arum told The Manila Times that the third Bradley fight will not be Pacquiao’s last fight. “It won’t be promoted that way,” Arum stated.
