The under cards features on the NBC Premier Boxing champions event had some exciting story lines.
In the opening bout we got to see junior middleweight Oscar Molina (13-0, 10 KOs) win an eight round unanimous decision over Todd Manuel. Molina dropped Manuel in the first round and most of the exchanges in the fight against the competitive Manuel. All three judges scored the bout in favor of Oscar Molina, 80-71, 80-71, and 79-72.
Jesus Cueller fought Victor Darchinyan (40-8-1, 28 KO) Saturday afternoon coming out aggressive and landed some big shots, including some really clean left hands, But Cuellar (27-1, 21 KO) was just bigger and stronger competitor, able to stand up to Darchinyan’s best shots and strike back, wearing Darchinyan down, and sending victor to the ground in the eighth, it was pretty much over there.
Fighting at Middlewieght we had Alfredo Angulo (23-5, 19KOs) knock out Delray Raines (19-11-1, 14KOs) in the fifth round. Raines had some solid early moments in the bout to make it a competitive first three rounds, but quickly faded really fast. In the fourth Raines hit the floor from a series of hard punches to the body. During the fifth, Angulo dropped Raines for the second time with an onslaught of punches and when Raines got back to his feet it was just a matter of a few seconds as a very hard right hand to the jaw of Raines sent him down as Referee Jack Reiss waved off the fight.

Robert Guerrero " width="983" height="552" />Robert Guerrero and Aron Martinez had a keenly fought 10-round battle that resulted in a split-decision win for Guerrero.
It was a tale of two fights: When the action took place in the center of the ring, it was generally to Guerrero’s advantage, as he used his height and reach advantage to pick Martinez apart. But when Martinez got Guerrero on the ropes, which he did frequently, he was far more successful, hammering Guerrero to the body and landing sharp uppercuts.
Both fighters had their moments in the latter half of the fight, but it was Guerrero who was able to control the distance and pull out a split-decision win in a feisty back-and-forth battle that lived up the StubHub Center’s reputation for hosting action fights.
