Canada’s top MMA promotion returns as Hard Knocks Fighting presents “HK 41”, on January 30 at the Century Casino in Calgary. Hard Knocks Fighting is the fastest growing promotion in Canada with shows in Calgary, Medicine Hat, Regina, Estevan, Prince Albert, and expanding quickly to new cities. The action packed 12 bout pro/am card will feature many of the established up and coming superstars of the Great White North.

In the main event, for the HKFC Light Heavyweight Title, UFC and Bellator veteran Rodney Wallace (22-9-1) from Team ROC battles Misha Cirkunov (7-2) from Xtreme Couture. Wallace is a power puncher who has fought around the world and amassed some of the best highlight KOs in the sport. Wallace is always looking to finish the fight and has taken on all challengers in his career. Wallace will look to make it a quick night as he will be in attack mode from the opening bell. Cirkunov is also a fast starter and has 5 first round stoppages. Cirkunov is an active striker but brings a solid grappling game, having 3 tapout wins to his credit. These two will light up the night sky when the cage door closes behind them. Expect fireworks.

In the co-main event, Souk Khampasath (6-6-1) fights Jesse Arnett (5-4) in a bantamweight showdown. Khampasath has only gone to a decision twice in his career and loves to go for the finish early and often. Khampasath is on a 3 fight winning streak, all by finish, and looks to make it 4 in a row. Look for Khampasath to try and go for takedowns early and often and try to get the fight to the ground. Arnett is on a 2 fight win streak with his last fight lasting less than a minute. Arnett is also a fast starter having only going to decision once in his career. 4 of Arnett’s 5 wins have come via stoppage. Don’t blink as these two will be looking to destroy one another.

Don’t miss this electrifying event featuring Western Canada’s finest MMA athletes as Hark Knocks Fighting presents “HK 41” on January 30 in front of a packed house. Rage in the Cage 175 – Super Bouts

Rage in the Cage returns to GFL.tv on January 31 with “RITC 175” as the top fighters from around Arizona and the surrounding states do battle in Arizona’s premier MMA organization at the Prescott Valley Event Center in Prescott, Arizona. RITC has been a proving ground for the Southwest’s top fighters for years and years and now the world will get to see the Grand Canyon State’s next crop of champions. RITC is always stacked with several quality matchups.

In the main event, for the RITC Interim Middleweight Title will be on the line when RITC Middleweight Champion Joe Gigliotti (3-0) fights UFC and Bellator veteran Clifford Starks (8-2). Gigliotti won the title back in October 2014 with a RNC in the third round. He is a versatile fighter with slick combos thrown from multiple angles as well as a solid ground game that is underrated. All 3 of Gigliotti’s pro wins have come via stoppage and he has walked through most of his competition in the cage. Starks will be the toughest test in the career of Gigliotti who returns to RITC where he is 5-0 inside the cage. Starks has faced much stiffer competition in his career than Gigliotti and is already proven and battle tested. Look for Starks to use his wrestling edge and try and get the fight to the mat where he can work his ground and pound. This fight is sure to be explosive from start to finish.

In the co-main event, in a featherweight bout, Danny Hilton (3-2) fights Ray Robinson (7-11). Hilton brings a solid ground game and is especially dangerous off of his back. His only losses have come via decisions including by split, where many observers felt Hilton won. Hilton brings a ferocious pace to all of his fights and looks to break his opponent’s will in the early going. Robinson brings a well-rounded MMA game into the fight. Robinson is a veteran of the cage and his last fight was a title fight where he fought gallantly but came up short. Robinson is looking to get back in the title picture and a win over the rising Hilton will do just that. Expect a barnburner.

For the RITC Amateur Lightweight bout, Anthony Wray (2-1) battles Dante Patrick (9-1). Wray is a rising prospect who brings one-punch KO power into the cage. Wray can end a fight with a solid blow and will be headhunting early and often. Patrick is on a 6 fight winning streak and brings a huge experience advantage into the fight against Wray. Patrick is a grappling wizard with 4 wins coming via tapout and will look to negate the punching power of Wray by using wrestling and getting the fight to the mat where he can work his ground game.

Rage in the Cage is one of the pioneering MMA promotions in the United States. A surplus of current and past UFC fighters cut their teeth in RITC. Watch the stars of tomorrow compete today as “RITC 175” comes to you live on January 31 on GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here
