MARK ANTHONY GERALDO WILL ARRIVE IN PUERTO RICO TOMORROW FOR HIS FIGHT AGAINST MCJOE ARROYO IN TRIPLE CROWN DECEMBER 20 AT EL SAN JUAN RESORT AND CASINO IN PUERTO RICO
SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (December 11, 2014)– Philippine contender Mark Anthony Geraldo will arrive tomorrow to Puerto Rico to complete training for his International Boxing Federation (IBF) super flyweight elimination bout against Puerto Rican McJoe Arroyo on December 20, at El San Juan Resort and Casino in Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico, which will be broadcast on DIRECTV Pay Per View.
Geraldo (31-4-3, 14 KOs), who is ranked #9 by the IBF at 115 pounds, is scheduled to arrive at the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in Carolina, Puerto Rico, at 11:59 p.m. (Local Time) on Thursday, December 11.
The main event of the Triple Crown will feature 2008 Puerto Rican Olympian McJoe Arroyo (15-0, 8 KOs), ranked number two by the IBF in the super flyweights (115 pounds), versus Geraldo in an IBF elimination fight.
Meanwhile, former two time WBO junior lightweight champion, Roman “Rocky” Martinez (27-2-2, 16 KOs) will face an opponent to be determined for a 135 pounds regional title. In another bout, former world title challenger Jose “Chelo” Gonzalez (22-1, 17 KOs) will fight against an opponent to be announced for a regional title at the lightweight division. Also, former WBO female welterweight and junior middleweight champion Hanna Gabriel (13-1-1, 9 KOs), from Costa Rica, will fight against Mexican Paty Ramirez (10-1, 5 KOs) for the vacant WBO junior middleweight belt.
