Boxtoberfest! Lionheart Promotion Presents Eleven Bout Pennsylvania Card

Wyomissing, PA (October 22, 2014)– Andre Acuna’s Lionheart Promotion presents Boxtoberfest, an eleven bout amateur and professional card of boxing on Friday evening, October 24, 2014, at The Inn at Reading, in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Acuna’s second card will feature some of Pennsylvania’s young and rising future prospects. Ring announcer Mike Melendez returns to serve as master of ceremonies in what promises to be an exciting evening of Lionheart boxing entertainment.

Seven exciting amateur bouts are scheduled. In the 95 pound class, 38-4 Xavian Ramirez of the East Reading Boxing Club will face four time national champion Marquell Bradford. In the 152 pound division, Jorge Diaz Jr. will face Dontrey Gibson. In the 132 pound class, 2-2 David Lopez of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, will face 4-3 Felix Alvarado of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In the 141 pound class, 3-3 Nick Rummer of Reading, Pennsylvania, will face 4-8 Jawanza Dillard of the Poconos, Pennsylvania. Eric Martinez will face Philadelphia’s Nick O’Niel. In the 55 pound class, Jonny Rivera of Philadelphia will face Yoruba Moreu of New Mexico. In the 145 pound class, David Stevens of the East Reading Boxing Club faces Brandon Haddod. In the 127 pound class, Isael Flores of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, will face Juan Ramirez of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. In the 106 pound open class, five time national champion Harold Lopez will face an opponent to be named. Other amateur bouts may possibly be added to the card by Friday night.

Four professional four round bouts are scheduled. 3-0 light middleweight prospect Erik Spring of Reading, Pennsylvania, faces 2-3 Tommy Ayers of Cincinnati, Ohio. Debuting light middleweight Nicholas Hernandez faces Philadelphia veteran Greg Thomas. 7-3-2 cruiserweight Jeremy Stauffer of Reading faces 1-3 Dan Bolden of Louisiana. 6-11-3 local favorite Travis ‘The Animal’ Thompson of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, faces veteran Greg Coverson Jr. of Detroit, Michigan, son of former lightweight contender Greg Coverson.

First amateur bout begins at 6 P.M. on Friday evening, October 24, 2014, at The Inn at Reading in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
