Chicago Cruiserweight Sensation Junior Wright Headlines Dmitriy Salita Card

New York, NY (September 15, 2014)– Rising Illinois cruiserweight sensation Junior Anthony Wright headlines an exciting card of boxing at Millenium Theater in Brighton Beach Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday evening, September 18, 2014. Promoted by DmitriySalita’s Star of David Promotions.

Wright, now 11-0-1, with nine knockouts, has a 75% knockout ratio. Wright, coming off a six round heavyweight win over Marlon Hayes in August, will face southpaw Philadelphia veteran Kamarah Pasley, 6-7-2 with two knockouts. Pasley is durable, coming off a six round decision loss to 10-1 Alex Guerrero in May, a scoring a win and two draws in his previous bouts.

In other bouts, rising 5-0 Dominican light welterweight prospect Gary Beriguette will dangerous Albany trial horse Raphael Luna, whose 4-9-3 record has been tested by superior fighters. Luna is one of those fighters whose rating is irrelevant, a ‘you never know’ bruiser who shows up to fight against anybody who stands in front of him. Luna previous fought the fight of the night on a Salita card, a draw with Dimash Niyazov, and if Luna has a good night, anything goes could be the outcome.

Hard hitting lightweight prospect Dimash Nyazov, 6-0-2, Staten Island by way of Kazakhstan, will face 3-11-2 Jamell Tyson of Rochester, who has gone the distance 14 times and has faced 12 undefeated or debuting prospects. Nyazov, coming off a win over Jose Del Valle, is another unbeaten ‘test’.

Middleweight prospect Akil ‘That Dude’ Auguste of Brooklyn, 4-1, four knockouts, will face 3-0 southpaw middleweight prospect Godson ‘Soldier Boy’ Noel in a six rounder sure to bring the house down in a showdown confrontation. Bronx welterweight Peter Dobsonwill debut against veteran Brooklyn fighter Mack Babb.4-0 New York City middleweight prospect Pete Reyes faces Philadelphia light heavyweight Maurice Amaro. Female super bantamweight Jackie ‘The Force’ Trivilino of Plattsburgh, New York, faces southpaw Amanda Serrano of New York City. Tickets are $100 ringside, $60 and $ 40 general admission.
