UFC Bantamnweight Champion, Ronda Rousey has a broken thumb suffered in the 16-second win on Saturday against Alexis Davis at UFC 175 and will have knee surgery next week.

Rousey said she will have arthroscopic knee surgery on her knee next Tuesday to clean up some existing issues she has been dealing with for a few fights.

The broken thumb won’t require surgery or even a cast, but will require Rousey to avoid sparring or training for several weeks while the bones heal.

“My knee is really stable,” she said Wednesday night, according to MMAFighting.com. “All the ligaments are fine, there’s just stuff floating around in there. It’s just something that’s more maintenance that I need to do, so it’s not really a major knee surgery at all. It’s just a scope. I literally walk out of there and (should) be 100 percent in two weeks.”

Rousey (10-0), whose victory over Davis marked the fourth successful defense of her UFC title, said she expects her knee to be fully healed before her hand.
