By Robert Brizel, Head RCM Boxing Correspondent

Beware of the Hexecutioner! At age 25, Hekkie Butler holds the World Boxing Association and International Boxing Organization World Minimumweight titles On March 1, 2014, Butler, 25-1 with eight knockouts, knocked out Karluis Diaz of Columbia, now 21-5 with 14 knockouts, in Gauteng, South Africa, at 2:59 of the first round to win his world title belts.

A right hand put Diaz out cold. Butler is South Africa’s lightest world boxing champion in its history. The general public may not have much interest in the lighter weight classes, but HekkieButler most certainly is an exciting fighter yet to be discovered by fight fans!
