York City to officially announce their light heavyweight world championship unification bout

taking place Saturday, April 19 live on SHOWTIME® (9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West

Coast) at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C. Hopkins and Shumenov will be joined by WBO

Middleweight World Champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin, who will discuss his title

defense against Lucas Konecny.

FACTS:         Hopkins vs. Shumenov, a 12-round fight for the IBF, IBA and WBA Light Heavyweight World Championship, will take place Saturday, April 19, at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C. The event is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona and AT&T. The live SHOWTIME telecast will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast) and will be available in Spanish via secondary audio programming (SAP).
