Nasty Call Out at Roseland! Undefeated Top Ten Female Super Bantamweight Shelito Vincent Wants Lou DiBella Fighter Heather Hardy Next
By Robert Brizel, Head RCM Boxing Correspondent
2011 Golden Gloves National champion Shelly ‘Shelito’ Vincent of Providence, Rhode Island, is 10-0 as a professional, and the current Women’s International Boxing Association Super Bantamweight title. She is ranked tenth in the world on BoxRec. On Wednesday evening, February 13, 2014, at Roseland Ballroom in New York City, New York, Vincent launched a verbal callout and attack on the victorious Heather Hardy and promoter Lou DiBella. Hardy, now 8-0, Brooklyn, New York, holds the Universal Boxing Federation International Female Super bantamweight title and is the world ranked number 22 female super bantamweight in the world on BoxRec.
With the demolition of the historic Roseland Ballroom scheduled for March 2014, promoter DiBella has stated he will be announcing his new DiBella Entertainment boxing venue in New York City shortly. Perhaps Vincent versus Hardy for a world female super bantamweight title could headline Lou DiBella’s card at the new venue. More to come.
