The press conference and official weigh-in will be held on Thursday, January 2, at 3:30 pm (press conference) and 5:00 pm (weigh-in) at The Pourhouse (Lumber Exchange Building: 10 S 5th Street in Minneapolis) on the main floor for the Friday, January 3, ESPN Friday Night Fights-televised night of live professional boxing being held at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Presented by Iron Mike Productions, Seconds Out Promotions and Warriors Boxing, the event (the year’s first installment of the 17^th season of ESPN Friday Night Fights) will be headlined by a 12-round main event for the IBF Junior Lightweight Championship fight between champion Argenis Mendez (21-2-1, 11 KOs) of Brooklyn, New York via San Juan, Dominican Republic and #1-ranked undefeated challenger Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy (19-0, 12 KOs) from Miami, via Cuba, as well as a 10-round middleweight war between hometown hero Caleb “Golden” Truax (23-1, 4 KOs) of Minnesota and Ossie “The Ghanaian Gladiator” Duran (28-11-2, 11 KOs) of Ghana.

The general public is invited to the official weigh-in at 5 pm for a $7 admission and their first cocktail is complimentary.
