Bobby Gunn Loaded, Glen Johnson Should Prevail in WBU Confrontation of Warriors

Two famous ring dinosaurs will fight in all probability their last great confrontation on Wednesday night, October 18, 2012, at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. One week short of age 40, The Celtic Warrior, Bobby Gunn, 21-5-1 with 18 knockouts, Hackensack, New Jersey, will fight Glen Johnson, ‘The Road Warrior’, 52-18-2, 36 knockouts, Clearwater, Florida, two weeks short of age 45.

Johnson’s venture into the cruiserweight division should prove his swan song. Gunn is also an accomplished bare knuckles fighter, but has not accomplished as much as Johnson during his career. This bout will be for 12 rounds for the newer American version of the World Boxing Union World Cruiserweight title. Johnson is favored to win the 12 round decision.
