Hank Lundy and Chazz Witherspoon Headline Burchfield Fall Brawl Atlantic City Card

Atlantic City,NJ (October 5th, 2013)–Boxing and MMA Promoter extraordinaire Jimmy Burchfield and CES Boxing will present an exciting fight card entitled ‘Fall Brawl’ at Resorts Hotel & Casino Superstar Theatre in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday, October 19, 2013, featuring highly regarded world ranked light welterweight Henry ‘Hammerin’ Hank Lundy, and popular Atlantic City heavyweight Chazz Witherspoon.
Lundy, now 25-3-1, 11 knockouts, coming off a ten round decision win over 13-1 Olusegun Ajose, will face Jeremy Bryan, 16-3, seven knockouts, Paterson, New Jersey. Bryan has been knocked out three times in his last six bouts, by Amir Imam, Ronald Cruz and Vincent Arroyo, who have a combined record of 26-1. Hank Lundy is two notches above these rising preliminary fighters. Lundy is a closer, and will knock out Bryan within four rounds once he warms up and dismantles his limited opponent. Strangely, Bryan scored an eight round decision win over 22-2 Yuri Ramanau in Miami, Florida, in January 2013. Bryan is inconsistent, but once Lundy cuts off the ring and exposes his opponent’s limited record, Bryan will have nowhere to run and hide.
Witherspoon, now 30-3, 22 knockouts, missed scoring the expected upset against Seth Mitchell in April 2012. After battering the 24-0-1 Mitchell in the first round and well on his way to scoring the big upset, having Mitchell in trouble, Witherspoon recklessly stood in front of the football player and got himself knocked out. Witherspoon will have to combat a southpaw now in Derek Bryant (no relation to Jeremy Bryan), 20-7-1, 17 knockouts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bryant, 42, has not won a fight in six years, and was knocked out by Seth Mitchell in the first round in July 2010. Witherspoon by eight round decision in this affair, or Witherspoon by stoppage in the fifth round or later as the aging Bryant tires.
New Jersey heavyweight John Lennox (12-2, five knockouts), Atlantic City welterweight Anthony ‘Juice’ Young, and District of Columbia heavyweight Danny ‘Smooth’ Kelly will be featured on the undercard.
