Real Combat Media UK: Fury vs. Haye Superfight is set for September 28th

A superfight between Britain’s two best heavyweight boxers will officially be announced this Thursday (July 11) at a midday press conference in London, details of which can be found below.

Tyson Fury and David Haye, both world-ranked, charismatic and dangerous, have agreed to a highly-anticipated domestic showdown on Saturday, September 28 at the Manchester Arena. It marks not only the biggest heavyweight encounter of 2013, but also the biggest fight staged in Britain for many years.

Manchester’s Fury boasts a perfect professional record, impressively winning all 21 of his bouts to date with 15 of them ending inside the scheduled distance. The 25-year-old is a former British, Commonwealth and Irish heavyweight champion and is a born entertainer – inside and outside of the ring.

The 32-year-old Haye, meanwhile, is a hard-hitting former WBA heavyweight champion of the world, as well as the former WBC, WBA and WBO cruiserweight titleholder. The Londoner has finished 24 of his 26 professional victories via crushing knockout and suffered defeat only twice.
