Smokin’ Joe Frazier’s 1978 Miller Lite Beer Singing Commercial Resurfaces
By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent
Remember when Joe Frazier was also a singer? Real Combat Media brings you historical boxing’s magical moments with a twist! Take a walk down memorial lane with Smokin’ Joe Frazier and the knockouts, who sang the Miller Lite beer commercial in 1978. The beer commercial appeared during CBS, NBC and ABC televised sporting events. Smokin’ Joe actually had a pretty decent chance to reemerge as a singing star after his boxing flame was extinguished. I guess he did not stay with it, but at the time, Joe was on television in a different genre-as a singer-and looked pretty good in his tux and snazzy red bowtie.

When you order a beer, do like Smoking Joe.
Order Light Beer from Miller, and say no more.
It’s got a third less calories than the regular beer.
Light tastes great, y’all be listen here…………
It’s not the thing that makes me shout………..
Light’s less filling-hey! That really knocks me out!
